Gauras also known as Butterfly Bush or Butterflies in the Wind are very hardy herbaceous perennials that will come up again and again each season with their beautiful white or pink butterflies shaped flowers. Cut back lightly after the first blooms in spring to encourage new summer growth, and cut back heavily after the last blooms of autumn with good dose of quality fertilizer with a fresh layer of compost.
