"Hypoestes Aristata"- evergreen perennial-Â partial sun and shade.
Hypoestes Aristata or Polka Dot plant is indigenous to South Africa, and while it can grow in full sun, it prefers semi-shade to obtain a better colour. This is a versatile plant for out of the way plantings that receive little or no water. It needs very little attention other than trimming back after flowering, or when it becomes woody with age.
